Enterprise AI and Joule with Our Global Partners

Enterprise AI on SAP: AI strategy and use-case portfolio, SAP Joule and BTP AI Foundation enablement backed by our global partnerships, AI in HR and recruiting, predictive finance on SAP Analytics Cloud, process automation and agents, and AI governance aligned to Quebec Law 25 and GCC data-protection rules.

Straight answers

Where does AI actually belong in an SAP landscape?

In the places with volume and repetition, and a human check at the end: reading and grouping support tickets, drafting test cases and documentation, summarising policy for a manager, surfacing anomalies in payroll or cost data, and assisted planning in SAP Analytics Cloud. Where it does not belong is any decision about a person (pay, eligibility, hiring, performance) or anything the organisation cannot explain afterwards.

Do we need SAP Joule and BTP AI Foundation, or something else?

It depends on where the work sits. Joule is worth enabling when users live inside SAP screens and the value is speed of access. BTP AI Foundation makes sense when you are building something on your own data with SAP-grade controls. Sometimes the honest answer is that neither is needed yet and the use case belongs in a tool you already own. We will tell you that rather than sell a platform. Where Joule is the right answer, we offer it backed by our global partnerships and confirm scope and what is live in your landscape first.

How do we keep AI in HR compliant with Quebec Law 25?

Build the controls in from the first design, not as a policy attached later: know what personal information the model sees, keep a lawful basis and a record of processing, disclose automated processing to the people affected, keep a human decision-maker in the loop, and log enough to explain a decision months later. We design the use case and the governance together, and legal and privacy teams review before anything goes live.

Will our data be used to train someone else’s model?

Not in how we set it up. Enterprise arrangements with no training on customer data, an explicit data-residency position rather than an assumed one, and processing terms written into the contract. Where residency must stay in Canada or in-region, the use case is designed around that constraint from the start. Sometimes that rules out a model, and that is a legitimate answer.

How do we pick the first AI use cases?

A short portfolio exercise: list the candidates, score them on volume, data readiness, risk and who benefits, and start with one or two that are boring, measurable and safe. The pattern that fails is a showcase use case with no owner. The pattern that works is a small one that saves a dedicated team real hours, then repeats.
